Our program
At Mega-A Hearing Impaired Foundation, our program is designed to remove barriers, unlock potential, and create lifelong opportunities for children and youth with hearing impairments. We believe education and empowerment must go hand in hand — that’s why our program goes beyond the classroom to nurture every part of a child’s life.
Inclusive Education
We run a primary and secondary school tailored to the needs of hearing-impaired children. Our classrooms are supportive, engaging, and inclusive, combining sign language, speech development, and academic instruction so every student can learn with dignity and confidence.
Teacher Training & Outreach
A child’s success begins with the teacher. Through our teacher training workshops, we equip educators with skills to communicate effectively, use adaptive teaching methods, and inspire students with hearing challenges. Our outreach extends to community schools, helping them embrace inclusive education.
3. Safe Accommodation & Nutritious Feeding
Many of our students travel long distances to attend school. To make education possible, we provide boarding facilities, safe housing, and balanced meals. This ensures children can focus on learning without the stress of hunger, homelessness, or neglect.
Vocational Skills & Post-School Empowerment
Our responsibility doesn’t end with graduation. We prepare students for life after school by offering:
- Vocational training in crafts, technology, and trades
- University preparation for those pursuing higher education
- Entrepreneurship support to help students start small businesses and become financially independent
Advocacy & Community Support
We are a voice for the hearing-impaired in our community. Through advocacy programs, we raise awareness about disability rights, fight stigma, and work with families to build an environment where every child is respected and supported.
